Thanks to megasites like Amazon and Barnes and Noble, many wannabe writers are turning to self-publishing to realize their dreams. They don’t have to wait for large publishing houses to dole out contracts to them. Not only can they self-publish their books very easily, they get to keep most of the profits as well. And the kicker is, they don’t have to sell nearly as many copies to make a good living.

One of my favorite ways to promote my business is to give away free ebooks. The reason is that there are so many ways to do this, and it’s a great way for the subcriber to determine if you can provide a solution to his/her problem.

I’ve been writing and selling ebooks online since 2004. But, it was only in the last couple of years that sales dramatically increased (eg, recently I earned $1,078.65 in three days in ebook sales).
